Since it’s common to have quite a few questions as you start your journey with DCS, I created a FAQ list from past job seekers. If you still have questions after checking out the list, feel free to contact us at (800) 345-1275.
I’m looking for a job. Can DCS help me?
Yes. We focus on finding the best opportunities that fit your skills. DCS places people in three ways: contract, contract-to-hire, and permanent placements.
I have never used a recruiting firm before. How do I get started?
Most job seekers submit a resume or apply to one of the jobs posted on our website to start their relationship with us.
Why should I use DCS to find my next position instead of responding to job postings and advertisements?
DCS Recruiters submit your resume for positions not advertised to the general public. Our team can place your resume in the hiring manager’s hands to ensure it receives the attention it deserves. Unlike some other companies, our service is a free career resource.
In what types of jobs does DCS specialize?
We specialize in the placement of IT professions including, but not limited to, healthcare, government services, and aerospace industries.
What kind of background or skills do I need in order to work with DCS?
DCS works with job seekers holding various skills and accomplishments. From entry level to upper management, we can help you find the perfect career opportunity in IT.
What companies or types of companies does DCS work with?
Our customers are Fortune 500, mid-market, and emerging companies. They represent a wide variety of industries including financial services, government services, communications, energy and utilities, healthcare, and more.
What is the process once I submit my resume to DCS?
Once you submit your information to DCS, a Recruiter will contact you for a quick discussion regarding your experience and skills, as well as answer any questions you have about us. The more we know about you, the better we can match you to the right job. You can then expect a Recruiter to contact you when positions matching your area of expertise become available. This is the first step in establishing a long-term relationship. It’s in our best interest to connect talented people like you with the right opportunity.
When can I expect to find a new position?
We cannot offer a timetable since there are many variables outside our control. Your placement depends on what our clients are looking for, and as much as we wish we could predict all of their needs, we simply cannot. Your Recruiter will contact you as soon as a suitable position becomes available.
Can DCS help me find a new position whether I’m looking across the country or in my own city?
Yes. DCS works with companies located throughout the United States. We will discuss your preferences in our initial conversation and enter that info into our search criteria for future opportunities matching your requirements.
Are there any tips on being a contract employee?
Keeping your skills up to date and maintaining a good professional track record will help you stay in demand.
Does it cost me anything to work with DCS?
There are never any fees for the job seeker.
