"The hole she leaves in our team is tremendous; however, she is leaving a strong legacy having prepared everyone for future opportunities. Julia has been a remarkable asset to the entire organization and we are confident she will be equally successful contributing to the needs of the charitable foundations she currently supports." "Over the last 14 years, I've been excited to be part of a company whose mission and goals have helped to develop and nurture all employees' be it their personal or professional ambitions" says Julia. October 17, 2005 DCS Reaches Out to Katrina Victims Many of us Americans sat in utter horror of the devastation that played out in front of us in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. The DCS Team simply asked “What can we do to help?” The staff, management, and families of DCS found a cause that has led to a year long commitment to a school in Gulfport , Mississippi , Anniston Elementary. Prior to the storm the school had 560 students and 70 staff. On October 3, 2005 Anniston reopened its doors to just 364 students and 70 staff of which 18 find themselves and their families displaced. Here are just a few things Team DCS has done to support Anniston Elementary:
DCS is now working to ensure that Thanksgiving and Christmas will bring a little comfort to some of these students. Currently underway is a toy drive and Turkey collection. DCS is committed to Anniston Elementary its staff, students, and families. It is our way of simply giving back and answering our own question. This is what we can do!
