Executive Staff

Sheri Sherrell, President, is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our corporate headquarters in Austin, Texas. Sheri comes to DCS with an extensive background in building corporate infrastructure and a fresh perspective of marketing strategies. Prior to joining DCS, Sheri was responsible for navigating through government agencies for both product and service approvals. As the Co-Founder of Sentida Corporation, she successfully launched a revolutionary new product that required FDA approval and acceptance by the medical community. Her additional responsibilities included creating the necessary processes and procedures as well as creating the appropriate team to execute the business plan. Overseeing all aspects of the business, Sheri successfully expanded the operations. Prior to her role at Sentida, Sheri was the managing member of a large real estate partnership managing all day-to-day activities.

DCS was founded in 1990 by Gary Sherrell, a Tandem Technical Consultant. Early in his career, Gary experienced firsthand the need for a consulting services firm to raise the bar and value their consultants as “partners”. This core value became the foundation of DCS, and through our practice DCS has grown to more than 300 IT Professionals across the country.

Mark Thompson, Chief Financial Officer, joined DCS in February of 1999. Mark is responsible for the overall financial performance of DCS. This includes monthly and year-end financial statements, income/payroll tax reporting, banking, and other outside financial relationships. Mark also serves as the trustee for the DCS 401K plan. Prior to DCS, Mark served as the Vice President of Finance for OUM & Associates.

Sales/Marketing

Jadi joined DCS in January of 1995. Jadi is responsible for managing and maintaining key accounts as well as developing new clients nationwide. Jadi and Shannon Clemans work closely together to ensure a seamless Sales Team. Jadi has performed many aspects of Sales, Recruiting, and Administration during her career at DCS.

Jennifer joined DCS in November of 1997. Jennifer is responsible for managing and maintaining key accounts in the Austin area, as well as developing new clients in the region. Jennifer and the entire Austin staff work closely together to ensure a seamless Sales Team. Prior to becoming the Senior Account Executive in Austin, Jennifer worked directly with the Vice President of Business Development and was responsible for contract execution and vendor management, in addition to being the second point of contact for client support and development.

Shannon joined DCS in December of 1998. Shannon is responsible for managing and maintaining key accounts as well as developing new clients nationwide. Shannon and Jadi Lambro work closely together to ensure a seamless Sales Team. Prior to her role as an Account Executive, Shannon worked in support of the Sales Team.

Megan joined DCS in November of 2010. Megan works closely with the Austin Sales Team to manage and maintain key accounts in Texas. Prior to joining DCS, Megan worked 11 years in the customer service industry, employed in both restaurant and retail sales positions. Megan graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.

Jenelle joined DCS in January of 2003 as our Director of First Impressions. In 2005, Jenelle was promoted to Recruiting and Sales Coordinator, and in 2012, she was promoted to Sales Coordinator. Jenelle’s primary focus is building relationships with potential DCS clients and assisting them with their needs on behalf of the Sales Team. She is also in charge of executing all background checks and drug testing and providing support to the Sales Department.

Dale joined DCS in November of 2000. Dale is responsible for all Remedy Sales and Remedy Consulting engagements nationwide. Dale has been working with the Remedy Product line since 1994 as a developer and a consultant. Prior to DCS, Dale worked for EDS for 11 years as a Systems Engineer.

Recruiting

Rick joined DCS in October of 1997. Rick is focused on recruiting the best possible talent to assist both consultants and clients with meeting their key objectives. Prior to DCS, Rick worked at Microsoft for nine years managing an internal customer support group, running day-to-day operations, and recruiting additional staff members. Following his tenure at Microsoft, he worked for a vendor as an Account Manager responsible for Sales and Support.

T.J. joined DCS in May of 1998. T.J. seeks out the best talent in the IT industry and assists them in finding challenging and rewarding opportunities at client sites nationwide. Prior to DCS, T.J. worked for a consulting firm (AR/Focus, a former subsidiary of DCS) as a Remedy Technical Recruiter. T.J. attended Central Washington University and received a Bachelor Degree in Leisure Services.

Jaclyn started her career in IT Recruiting with DCS in 1998. She is responsible for building relationships with potential DCS consultants and assisting them in their job placement at strategic accounts nationwide. In addition, she serves as the Consultant’s point of contact while on a consulting engagement for DCS. Jaclyn attended Central Washington University and received a Bachelor Degree in Public Relations.

Jessica joined the DCS Austin team in November of 2006. As a Technical Recruiter, she is responsible for building relationships with potential DCS consultants and assisting them in their job placement at DCS clients nationwide. She is the Consultant’s point of contact while on a consulting engagement. Jessica graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources and a Bachelor of the Fine Arts in Dance Performance.

Jeff first joined DCS in January 1996. After almost 10 years of recruiting, he left DCS to manage technology for SaaS companies in finance, healthcare, and social networking. In November 2010, Jeff enthusiastically rejoined the DCS team to focus on recruiting talented candidates and matching them with the most compatible clients nationwide.

Jessie joined DCS as a Recruiting Coordinator in October 2012. She brings to the team extensive research and database administration experience. Jessie is responsible for managing consultant agreements, sourcing new talent, and supporting consultants while on assignment. Before DCS, Jessie worked in IT as a Litigation Systems Analyst and Marketing Database Analyst. Jessie graduated from Gonzaga University with a Bachelor of Business Administration.

Katie joined DCS in June of 2010. Katie coordinates consultant travel, manages expense reports, and creates new hire documentation. Her responsibilities also include supporting the Recruiting and Administrative Team. Katie graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business, concentrating on Management, and a Minor in Event Planning.

Administration

Debbie Pangburn, Office Manager, joined DCS in June of 1999. Debbie is responsible for the consultant payroll, 401(k), and all other human resource issues. Prior to DCS, Debbie worked as a Customer Services Manager at American Reporting Corporation for 10 years.

Nikki joined DCS in March of 2012 as our Director of First Impression. Nikki brings tremendous energy to the team as she sets a positive tone for every engagement at DCS. In addition, Nikki manages the DCS back office, Consultant welcome packets, anniversaries, and birthday gifts as well as provides back-up support for recruiting and finance. Before joining DCS, Nikki was in the healthcare industry where she worked in both large family practices and specialty treatment facilities.

Ann joined DCS in December of 1998 as our Director of First Impressions. In 2003, Ann was promoted to the Office Administrator. She is responsible for invoicing, vendor management, and corporate travel. She works closely with our Director of Office Operations, Debbie Pangburn, on various operations issues.

Holly joined DCS in 1993 and has been involved in almost every aspect of DCS including Office Management, Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Contracts Administration, Staff Development, and Event Planning. Holly graduated from City University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration/Project Management.

Caitlin joined DCS in September 2011. Her responsibilities include supporting the Austin recruiting team with contractual agreements, resume presentation, new hire documentation, and other administrative duties. Caitlin graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2010 with her Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies with a concentration in Corporate Communication. Prior to joining DCS, Caitlin worked in the Marketing/Advertising industry in Austin.

Melanie joined DCS in December of 2011. Her responsibilities include social media relations, web content management, collateral development and resume presentation. Melanie graduated from the University of Washington’s Editing Program and earned her Bachelor of Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Prior to joining DCS, Melanie worked in the aerospace industry providing marketing support.
